We are a group of Star Wars fans from the State of Oregon who are members of an international fan organization called the Rebel Legion. We like to dress up in Rebel Star Wars costumes (we're the good guys). We host events, support charities, and just have fun hanging out together.

In order to maintain a pleasant and productive environment for our members, the Rebel Legion has developed an extensive Charter to cover the proper operation of all Units worldwide. Please browse this document at your leisure to see how we manage to have fun and keep growing!

Who can join?

Anyone who has a movie-quality, Rebel-style Star Wars costume. This includes a costume of any character from the original trilogy who could be considered a part of the Rebel Alliance, Jedi, members of the Old Republic, creatures who are not opposed to Rebels, Jedi, and the like, Senators, Royalty, Clone Troopers, Smugglers, aliens from the Star Wars Universe, characters from any Star Wars movies who are considered "the good guys", etc. Expanded Universe (E.U.) character costumes are also welcome, though you may not be able to wear an E.U. costume at some events, and they should be movie-quality and should be something reconized from the Star Wars Universe. Basically, if you support the light side of the Force, join us. If you're one of those darksiders or Imperials, you belong with the local 501st Legion's Cloud City Garrison. I want to join but I don't have a costume!

There are many ways to acquire a movie-quality Star Wars costume, but be forewarned, it can get pretty expensive. You can buy one or have one tailored for you, but the best way to do it is just to make it yourself! Our Links page has some online listings to helpful costuming resource websites. Check out our Roster to see what our Members are wearing to get some ideas. How do I apply to become a member of Kashyyyk Base?

Once your costume is completed, take some pictures. In order to become a member of Kashyyyk Base, you must become a member of the Rebel Legion first. Visit the Rebel Legion website at www.rebellegion.com, click on "Join the Rebellion" and follow the instructions. Once you have been added to the Rebel Legion database and your picture is displayed in the Members pages you are a member of Rebel Legion and the base officers will be notified of your induction to Kashyyyk Base.
